This book, compiled by Cantonese teachers in Guangzhou and Hong Kong under the initiative of the Association for TCFL in Guangdong Province, is a Cantonese textbook written for non-Cantonese speakers in China and for foreigners who know some basic Chinese. Some places like Guangzhou and Hong Kong, where people speak Cantonese, are advanced in economy, attracting a great number of people to study or do business there. The original edition of this book is Cantonese Today, which has well met the needs of the market since its publication 10 years ago. Now the new edition is published after re-editting in accordance with the development of social life and the needs of language teaching.
